Q1. Why did you choose Valenta?
I chose Valenta for its exceptional company culture, which is open, friendly, and supportive, aligning with my values and work style. Additionally, the franchise model at Valenta fits my skill set and experience better than other opportunities, offering the flexibility needed for long-term success. The diverse revenue streams provided by Valenta further enhance the potential for building a robust and sustainable business.
Q2. What is your advice to anyone buying a business?
My advice to anyone buying a business is to do thorough due diligence. There are numerous options available, so it's crucial to research and evaluate each one carefully. For example, I reviewed nine different franchises before ultimately choosing Valenta. Taking the time to assess your options will help ensure you make an informed decision that aligns with your goals and values.
Q3. Who is your most important advisor, and why?
Kishore Siva has been incredibly helpful throughout my journey, providing invaluable mentorship and serving as a trusted sounding board as I establish my business. His guidance and support have been instrumental in navigating the challenges and opportunities along the way.
Q4. What is the best business advice you have ever received?
The best business advice I've ever received came from my wife of 34 years, Jennifer. She told me, "Nothing gets done that doesn't get started." This principle applies to both business and life: just dive in, take action, and make adjustments as needed.
Q5. Do you have any tips on how you would make the most out of Valenta Franchise?
As I'm still in the early stages with Valenta Franchise, having just launched last month, my advice is to embrace a trial-and-error approach. From my experience with startups, it's crucial to avoid making long-term commitments too early. Experiment with short-term strategies—such as different lead generation companies or marketing mechanisms—and evaluate their effectiveness. If a strategy proves successful, great! If not, pivot and try something else. This flexible approach helps you find what works best without being locked into a decision for months.
Q6. What is the key factor with your current business?
The key factor in my current business is its relationship-driven nature, which I find incredibly rewarding. By building strong rapport and growing your personal brand, you naturally attract business opportunities. This focus on relationships is essential for long-term success and growth.
